The vaguely green-fingered thoughts of a rambling rose.

Prunus Kojo No Mai

Bought in March 2024, this ornamental cherry tree is planted in our front garden. The pale blossom stands out against the backdrop of evergreen (and red) photinia when viewed from inside our sitting room. It's underplanted with purple primulae, chequered purple nodding snake's head fritillaria and a contrasting pop of orange ranunculus to bridge the gap between spring and summer.
