Clean the pond pump/filter.
Jetwash patio and terrace.
Clear any remaining old foliage.
March prune roses.
Complete mulching.
Summer
In May cut back taller sedums and h.geranuims to make sturdier plants.
Also in May, take off old hydrangea heads.
In June prune any cherry trees.
In late July-August prune wisteria to 7 buds.
Autumn
Net the pond to catch falling leaves.
Clean the pond pump and filter.
Plant lots of tulips and narcissi in the front garden (Nov).
Collect leaves and compost for leafmold.
Start mulching.
Mulch roses with well rotten manure.
Winter
Wash birch tree trunks. Prune the acers (Yen and Crimson King).
Paint fences.
Replace supports.
February- prune wisteria back to 2 buds.
Prune any trees other than prunus (cherries).
