Site: dappled shade, sheltered from cold winds.

Common names: Christmas Rose, Lenten Rose, Winter Rose.

Notes

*Cut off last year's foliage to prevent leaf spot and allow the blooms to be seen.

*Feed with blood, fish and bone/general fertiliser in spring.

*Divide in spring.
