June Duties

Continue to tie in climbers

Watering late evening after sun has lowered enough to cast shade on leaves to help prevent scorching. This also means less evaporation.  On very hot days, water containers and baskets early morning too, before the sun reaches them.

Save 'grey water'.  This is water from the bathtub or sink, and water from doing the pots after meals. It's perfectly safe for plants unless strong chemicals such as bleach have been used.

Sit back and enjoy the garden.
